The Heat is On!

Literally, we actually turned on the heater for the first time this week. Fall (Herbst) has now arrived and temperatures barely get into the 50's during the day, and coupled with a wet rain, it can be rather chilly! We have seen the field behind our house, plowed, planted, grown, and now harvested. The leaves changing just remind us that we are entering into the Final Quarter on our journey here in Austria.

We have been fortunate enough to get to take advantage of the great social system here. Christoph was able to have surgery on his knee. Turns out, he had about a centimeter missing from his ACL from an old CBC soccer injury. He is recovering fast and great. Finally, I get to drive myself around for a change, and I like that (besides parking). Jonas (our six year old nephew) has started school and is losing his teeth! This has been an exciting time in his life, and we love being apart of it.

Church and Bible studies have been wonderful. We enjoy connecting and studying with local Christians. Work and Life are fun here, we try to take it all in and enjoy every moment, we know that soon enough we will be back to the hustle and bustle of home.
