Spring, Sunshine & Schneeglocken

The flower is called 'Schneeglocken' (shnay-glooken). It appears in the spring time when the snow retreats. Children usually pick them on the way home from school and bring them to their moms to make them happy. Christoph actually remembered where he used to pick them...we walked there, and sure enough, there they were, next to the creek. Walks are so much fun!

All is fine here. The Jeep is finally Austrian now! This is definately a praise, as it took a lot of time and running around in the rain to get it finalized, but she has new plates now - BR 403 DI. We are pretty excited not to be driving around with Texas license plates anymore! Talk about sticking out like a soar thumb!

Church is another story. We had visited the Christ Free Church in Braunau (about 25 minutes away) last Sunday. But after further investigation, there are too many scriptural discrepancies that we cannot be comfortable worshipping there, or serving there. So this morning, we listened to a sermon on the Beatitudes by Gary Coleman from Lavon Drive Baptist in Garland (Thank you Anthony for the link!). We have our own Bible Studies and worship here in the living room. "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." Matthew 18:20 We are planning to visit the Baptist church in Steyr this week, hopefully on Tuesday. We don't really know why, but we just want to see where it is. Baptists make it pretty hard over here. The Baptist churches that we have found (an hour away in opposite directions) only meet on Sunday mornings. They don't get together any other times in the week, which makes it hard since Sunday mornings are difficult due to Christoph's work schedule.

Language School is going good. This class is over with in April, and my teacher has recommended that I skip a few levels and start with class 4 or 5. And she said that when that is too easy, I can move up further. It's still a lot of fun! I'm actually not afraid to answer the phone anymore.
